What is the coaching process?
A coaching programme will start with a free of charge ‘Exploratory call’. This is a 45-minute call where we get to know each other and assess compatibility. We typically discuss:
- the issue(s) that you want to bring to coaching
- what coaching is and isn’t and when it is the best intervention
- any questions you might have
- how/when the sessions might be structured and delivered
- what you want to get out of the process.
It’s useful to think about the goals you might want to focus on in advance (approximately 2-4) but we can hone these together in the programme.
A standard contract is then exchanged to ensure confidentiality and the parameters of the working relationship. I work within the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC) guidelines. The full Code of Ethics can be found here
How long is a coaching programme?
I typically offer 4 – 6 sessions of 60 – 90 minutes each. The sessions are generally spaced 1 month apart. The number of sessions required is entirely tailored to your needs and can be discussed in the initial ‘Exploratory’ session.
How will the sessions be delivered?
Whilst we remain under Covid-19 restrictions sessions are delivered online via Zoom/MS Teams etc. or over the phone.
What are the fees?
I charge £125/hour (any preparatory work and resulting notes from the session is included in this fee).
How do we start working together?
If my approach sounds like what you’re looking for, please do get in touch and we can arrange an Exploratory call.
I’d love to hear from you.
